About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Grocery Department Manager to join our Spudshed team located SOR!

As a Grocery Department Manager, you will be able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as having excellent leadership skills to train and develop a new team. You will also have excellent product knowledge!

Our aim is to make our Customers and Employees experience at Spudshed a welcoming and engaging one!

Responsibilities:

Department Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Meet rostering requirements, daily sales targets and expense controls
• Monitoring quality control, wastage and shrinkage. Bringing awareness to your team about seasonal environmental or current quality related issues within the department
• Stock management, checking deliveries to ensure store requirements are fulfilled
• Pro-actively meeting, improving and engaging your team on store presentation standards
• Supporting our customers’ needs though excellent service

About you:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving
• Strong leadership skills

To be successful in this role you must be Customer focused and passionate about maintaining an excellent Department standard.
